…artificial wreath was also received from the Sulphide street Methodist Sunday School. The bearers were: Messrs. C. Hendry, J. Mahony, A. Bethune, H. Brealey (Musicians' Union), , A. LeBrun Berkholz (Broken Hill Orches- tra), and F. H. Wilcox (W.I.U.). The Returned Soldiers' League was represented by Mr. W. Heslop and A. Merrilees. The service at the house and grave was conducted by the Rev. A. D. M'Cutcheon, assisted by the Rev. A. E. Bottrel. At the conclusion of the burial service the band played "Nearer, My God To Thee." The funeral arrangements were conducted by Fred J. Totter and Son. Barrier Miner, 29 April 1932
